Cosmetic would pay better because it is more specialized.
the cosmetic cuz then you get the rich costumers who blow money on stuff like that and it would def look better on a resume and it’d probably be a LOT more fun too.
they will both look really good on resumes
cosmetic dentistry is a little more difficult but has a great pay
general dentistry is really good pay for smaller work and you have easier tasks
may i suggest going for orthodontics too? thats what im doing

cosmetic would pay you more money but general will pay off more with patient relations. in cosmetic you see the patients on a few occasions and with general you see them at least twice a year and become familiar with patients. so i guess it depends on what kind of pay want. they look the same on resumes.
I’m a dental assistant of 2yrs for a general office. But we do as much cosmetic stuff as we do normal things. You may want to ask at the general office how much cosmetic stuff they do. But it’s up to you what kind you want to do. I enjoy doing both. Good luck with your interviews!
