pros are a degree that is very versatile (pre-dentistry isn’t usually a degree, you usually major in biology or chemistry and go to dental school), and the prospect of plenty of well paying job opportunities. The cons? Chemistry and biology at the college level are TOUGH, you will be living in the lab, and you aren’t guaranteed entry to dental school…its competitive, you will need good grades, volunteer and work experience, strong essays, and strong letters of recommendation from profs
