dentistry3 How much for straightening crooked tooth?
Mitsuye Kitayori asked:

I have just 1 crooked tooth (one next to my two front teeth) it really sticks outwards and prods into my inside of my lip and hurts sometimes. How much would this cost to get ‘straightened’ and who can do this? Im not familiar with dentistry at all.
I live in the UK and I don’t have a lot of money I heard there was something called a retainer for just a miner problem, what are these and are they expensive like ‘braces’?

Go to a regular Dentist. They can do a porceline veneer ($700-$1000), or if it’s too bad to be able to cover up with a veneer, you would need to go to an orthodontist and get braces. That runs about $4000. Find a Dental School in your area and they will have the students do the work for a lot less. Here’s a link for schools in the US:

I’ll do it for free. I’ve got pliers and a blowtorch
