What country are you planning to become a dentist in?

Your biggest obstacle will be the DAT in my opinion assuming your grades in college have been good. The Dental Aptitude Test is a comprehensive exam covering just about all disciplines of science. You’ll need to pass that exam before you even think about going to Dental School, and even if you pass, there are schools in CA like UCSF where you need to score in the higher medians to be considered.

You can start studying for the DAT, there will be no end to studying for that. Take the DAT. If your score is not close to passing then you can fall back on Dental Hygiene which is much easier to get into than Dental School.

Hygiene schools nowadays are very competitive. You need to get top grades in the pre-requisites or you may not even get into here. This is far easier to do (from my perspective) than passing the DAT.

inquire to a school with BS Dentistry course so that you will know which missing subjects you have to take since you have finished dental assistant course, from that you will able to calculate the no. of years you have to finish to be a dentist.

You need a BS or a BA degree from college. You need at least a 3.6 GPA. You need to pass a dental board admission test, make applications at dental schools, and be interviewed. Only 1 out of 25 applicants will be accepted in dental school. Good luck

then to pass the UMAT admittance test…
then to pass the interview process…

or have about $30k a yr i think to buy your way into griffith…
