Hello I heard that bonding/resin was covered, not completely, but that it was covered. I have tooth decay that is now spreading and I called my insurance company and they said it wasn’t covered?? I know this is cosmetic dentistry however I do have tooth decay so it’s not like I want my teeth whiter or whatever??? My insurance is MANULIFE financial!

The problem is, they have a bunch of idiots who are not dentists dictating what kind of treatment you should get for your teeth (ie they are there to prevent payouts and save their company money). They dont know or dont care as to what kind of actual treatment you need. The best way to go about this is to consult the dentist and have the dr write a treatment plan which you will forward to the idiots at the insurance and then take it from there.
