which Field is better for a woman? Engineering + MBA in finance or MDS (Dentistry)? Say 10 yrs down the line?

neniaf July 28, 2009 at 12:40 pm: I’m not sure where you are located, but my sense would be that if you are looking for a flexible career to accommodate a family, dentistry, which you can do as a private practice, might be a better choice. If you plan to work full time, either should work.
onegater July 30, 2009 at 11:31 am: I would say that Dentistry will give you the flexibility to where you want to live since every town needs a dentist and it seems to me that you will have a lot more flexibility on your work schedule as a dentist rather than an engineer.

I’m in Civil Engineering and your work day depends on the project you are working on.

That and you will make a lot more money in Dentistry than in Civil Engineering.
